Thursday, January 20, 2022 Florence County, SC Crash Kills One, Injures Four

One person died and four others were injured in a crash on U.S. 52 on Thursday, January 20, 2022.  

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that around 6:40pm, a Dodge sedan was traveling northbound on U.S. 52 when it crossed the median and ran into the southbound land where it crashed with a Chevrolet pickup truck.  

The crash occurred near North Old Georgetown Road in the New Hope Community.  

The driver of the Dodge sedan died and the four occupants of the pickup truck were taken to the hospital.
